Me, Myself, and I
Hi, I’m Jane. I am in Grade six, and I am 11 years old. So I guess since this page is called me, myself and I, I should probably tell you about me, myself, and I. So, you already know my name, so I’ll get right on to talking about my hobbies.
I love to figure skate! I have been skating since I was 3 years old. My music is from Winter Wonderland. I have also skated to a song from Peter Pan and one from Cinderella. I sadly do not know who the composers are. Your music in Figure Skating changes about every 2 and a half years or so.
I also enjoy to play violin and piano. I love music, but I hate singing. My favorite bands are Metric, and The Black Eyed Peas.
I live for crafts. I know how to sew. I have made lots of pajama pants, lots of pillows and some other stuff. I draw lots. I like to draw random stuff and then paint it or color it in with pencil crayons. I never use markers, for some reason! Another thing I do is bead. I like to make key chains and bracelets. Like I said, I live for crafts!
My family is an interesting topic. I have a wiener dog named Larry, an older brother named Phil and a mom and dad, named Mirjam ( which is pronounced without the j) and Paul. My whole family is from Switzerland, so we all speak Swiss German at home. Oh, and by the way, that does not include the dog!
One other thing I have to say is in honor of the punch buggie. I think it is just the coolest car ever! If I ever get a car, I would want a red punch buggie, lady bug themed on the inside. I do not know why I like this car, but it just looks so cool.
Oh, and I forgot one thing, I HATE HOCKEY:(
I am truly sorry to those hockey lovers, but I HATE HOCKEY! I know it is Canada’s national sport and all, but nothing is changing my mind!

Yo Jane-a-lane,
I love punch buggies too! If I was to get one I would get a bright green one, convertible type. I love to have the wind ripple through my hair. Do you like that feeling? I’m not sure which vehicle I would rather get though, a blue scooter or a green punch buggie.

I would prefer a yellow scooter, or an orange one.

Why do you want a scooter? Punch buggies are so awesome! They are like my signature car…It was designed for me! Why a blue scooter?

Hey Jane,
I liked reading your blog. Especially the part about Mr. Larry Twent. He is a cool dude. He likes it when you take him for walks.
I would like to know why you hate hockey so much? You would be an awesome hockey player with all your figure skating experience!

Hello Liz,
Why do I hate hockey? Well, for starters, I have no interest in watching people chase a little black puck and trying to score through a net, I mean you might as well just play basketball! Second of all, It think it is a boring sport, while in figure skating you leap and spin and lift your leg above your head! It is way more fun, I am positive!
What is your favorite sport to watch?

Figure Skating can be fun, but scary because when you jump through the air, you wonder how you will land. I never had any bad injuries like that though…luckily
I have been Skating since I was 4, so I am pretty used to it. My favorite thing to do while figure skating is trying out new spins. What are some of your hobbies?

Well I am a really good singer. My choir went to the Four Square Church. We sang some songs and the guy there said we should do some solos. So my choir teacher asked who would do a solo. One of my friends and I put our hands up and so she asked us to do a solo and I did. I did so well that I cried. I was so scared but I was happy. My friend did one too. Everyone said that she sang quietly and that I had a good, loud voice.

Sounds like you are an awsome singer. Do you ever want a career as a singer? If you rated yourself out of a scale of 10, what would you mark your self as a good singer?
Do you sing in the school choir? I did once, but I don’t really like singing, so I quit.
What is the one thing you hate most, as in a sport of hobbie that other people do?

Well that is my main plan or I would be a kids’ nurse. Well I would put myself at a nine because I am not the best singer in my entire school, but around second or third. Yes I did I have the whole time I have been in the higher grades. I will have to agree that all my friends that are boys are obsessed with hockey. It just bugs me.
